USE FEELING:
1500W: Actually seems to soft start. Current ramps up over about two seconds. I would suspect inductive loads would do fine on this. Never seemed to struggle at any of my loads I gave it. When it goes into alarm for low voltage it stays locked out until you turn it off and back on.
2000W：This came on time, early actually. It was very secure, as being packed in three boxes with styrofoam as well. It only came with the two cables and they were very short, I had to buy other cables that were longer, at least for my needs. Literally just the huge inverter and the two cables were in the box. The only paper work included was a booklet that listed the symbols that would flash from the inverter. I hooked it up to my gel battery, then hooked up a power strip from the inverter, and it charged my computer, and my small heater. WOOHOO! I hope it stays as awesome as I need to be.
3000W：When tested, it powered an 18 cubic foot refrigerator freezer, a 1500 watt heater. I connected it to a 225Ah battery bank with 0 AWG cables. If I could do it again, I'd use 2 AWG cables (2 feet long). Additional information: it has NO ground.
2000W：Look this is not a small item and it is really massive. But as measured by my limited accuracy meters it delivers the continuous and peak watts up to the specifications.  I have run 2000 watts until my battery was dead with no issues. Have seen up to 3,700 watts on start up. So I have to say this is a item that delivers up to its specifications. Not sure this is the best money can buy, but it seems to provide what the specifications indicate. Few products actually do that today.
How to choose the suitable power inverters for your equipment?
If you need the car power inverter to run the resistive loads(like TV, electric cooker, LED light, please choose the inverter with continuous power higher than the apppliance's raterd power.
If you need the car power inverter to run the inductive loads(for apppliance like refrigerators, air
conditioners, fans, washing machines,microwave ovens),please calculate the rated power of inverter 3 to 7 times higher than the rated power of your apppliance.
For example,1500W continuous power suggests
running
less than 500W machines;
2000W continuous power suggests running less than 700W machines;
3000W continuous power suggests
running
less than 1000W machines;
You would better ask the seller for advice if you are not sure about that.
