    Description

For bid is an original March 1960 Boston Red Sox versus Cleveland Indians "Cactus League" souvenir program from Tucson, Arizona before the official 1960 Major League season.  Program by the Tucson, Arizona "Uptown Optimist Club."  This program includes a wonderful Cleveland Indians comic cover!  Wonderful program with 24 numbered pages inside the yellow front and back covers.  Page 16 has a great portrait of TED WILLIAMS in his Red Sox uniform.  This was his LAST YEAR playing baseball!  The center pages of the program have a small, blue pocket schedule of "Cactus League" preseason games played in Arizona, between March 12 to April 7.  Boston Redsox, Chicago Cubs, Cleveland Indians and San Francisco Giants listed on the cover of the pocket schedule.  It's stapled inside by the top spine staple.
Program is complete but the bottom edge corner of each page is nipped off and missing.  It's tiny but affects all pages and covers.  See images.
