Up for auction is a Dominion Association Of Fire Chiefs Convention medal
. This medal was for the 30th convention held in Sault St marie in 1938. The medal is about 5 1/2" long & made by Scully of Montreal. The medal appears to be made of silver or silverplate but it is not hallmarked. The condition is fair to good, the ribbon is faded & torn. The enamel is a bit worn but shows no major chipping & the detail on the metal parts is still crisp & clear with some light tarnishing.
