This is a 1965 program between the New York Yankees and the Detroit Tigers played at Yankee Stadium.
The program is not scored.
The 1965 New York Yankees were led by Hall-of-Famers Mickey Mantle and Whitey Ford, along with Roger Maris, Elston Howard, Tony Kubek, Tom Tresh, Joe Pepitone, Bobby Richardson, Clete Boyer, Mel Stottlemyre, Al Downing, Jim Bouton, Bill Stafford and Pedro Ramos.
The 1965 Detroit Tigers were led by Hall-of-Famer Al Kaline, along with Bill Freeehan, Willie Horton, Norm Cash, Dick McAuliffe, Jim Northrup, Don Wert, Don Demeter, Denny McLain, Mickey Lolich, Hank Aguirre, Joe Sparma and Dave Wickersham.
The condition of this program is EX. The front cover is clean with nice color and gloss. The back cover is clean, with nice color and gloss.
The spine is tight. The insides are clean.
The program is complete and intact. Please check the scans. It will be tough to find a 1965 program in better shape.
The Yankees went 77-85 in 1965, finishing in 6th place in the AL
.
The Tigers went 89-73 in 1965, finishing 4th.
